The 2016 New Zealand Coffee Awards have been postponed until 2017 while we seek a new Naming Rights Sponsor. Is this you? A great opportunity!

Having run very successfully for the past 12 years, with award-winning coffee roasters gaining valuable momentum from their involvement, we apologise for this year’s awards not being held as usual in October. Instead we will aim to resume them early in 2017.

If you are aligned to the coffee industry and would like to discuss possible sponsorship, then please contact Michael Guy on 0274 958511.

Current Champs. Auckland’s Altura Coffee  won the Supreme Award at the Huhtamaki 2015-16 New Zealand Coffee Awards, the second time it has been judged the country’s best coffee roaster since the awards began 12 years ago.

Its award-winning coffee, named Altitude, was a clear winner with the highest individual score in the eight categories of the awards.

Nearly 300 entries were entered from New Zealand Coffee roasting companies for this year’s awards, now in their 12th year. Altura, based at Albany on Auckland’s North Shore, won the Gold Medal in the highly competitive Flat White category, which attracted the greatest number of entries. Their Altitude coffee was only launched on to the New Zealand market in the past two weeks.
